      Feminist movement can be defined as the belief women and men are treated differently by our society, and women have frequently and systematically been unable to participate fully in social and institution. It is also a desire to change that situation where women and men are same.

THE BENEFITS OF WRITING IN PRESPECTIVE ACADEMIC AND SOCIETY LIFE

We have already known that writing is important subject that should be understood for each college student. It is not because we are majoring languages, but when we choose ourselves to be a college student at university, we must understand about writing.

UPGRADING MY WRITING SKILL

Being a college student who is majoring English Department was interested. Writing is one of my favorite courses. Writing helps me how to extend the idea, feeling, and aspiration. Actually, when summer holiday came, last semester, I forgot on how to write something. It seemed I had forgotten all the lesson in what lectures gave last semester. Also, it seemed my hands were so awkward on what I am going to write so. So, after I met Ms.  Lina on the second semester, I did not know what I would do to write something.

WRITING 1 CLASS

The last semester was my first time to take Writing 1. In the first place, I met Mr. Saunir and Ms. Fitra as the lecturers to teach about Writing 1 n my class. I remembered that I was the first student who was chosen by the lecturer to give the presentation about paragraph descriptive text.  I did presentation in front of the class about “Uniform in Universities.” In fact, I got some comments by lecturers and the audiences. Since I followed Writing 1 class, I learnt many things on how to write a paragraph. I understood on how to write a paragraph, on how to write the short essay, and on how to make an outline. Being a college student, I had to make an essay every week. Then, each student had to do presentation in front of the class with their own text. After that, we did discussion, where the college students were allowed to give some suggestions, and asked some questions about the presentation at that time. For me, it works. Why? By doing small discussion at the end of her/his presentation, it could improve the quality of writing students’ understanding.

While I was following the writing class, I also got some problems. Sometimes, I could not write well, because my mood was not good. I could not concentrate on how to think some good ideas. It would impact to my own writing, because I could not get the point of view of the topic itself. The lecturer used to ask the students to make a paragraph, even an essay every week in orders others friends could correct our writing. It means students need to share each other about writing, and we had to read a lot to get the information. Sometimes, I also could not receive my friends’ suggestion, because I think it was not suitable based on the writing rules. I had more strong reasons based on what I had learnt before doing presentation. Furthermore, they blamed me that I was too egoism person, because I was grant my own opinion.

Besides, I also got a problem to spread the ideas. When a lecturer asked me to write something I could not write immediately on the paper, but I needed the times to make the outlines first. The problem that I found while I am doing examination is time. I could not be hurry in finishing a paragraph, because I need time to think the explanation of the topic. The lecturers used to give the certain time to finish the examination. So, through the certain times, I had to finish it. That was my bad mistake that I could not manage time well.

Not only had the bad experiences which I got while I was learning Writing 1 classed, but also the good one. I understood on how to write something based on writing rules. I could help some people who had lack of writing understanding, such as giving some suggestions and comments. By helping some people, I could take something on it. I can remember continuously by sharing to my friends.  It could add my knowledge through helping some people in writing.

In conclusion I enjoyed Writing 1 class. I got As for Writing 1 in the last semester. Even though I got some problems, but I tried to be professional to face the situation. Writing 1 classed had done, and the next challenge comes to warn myself in maintaining this mark and knowledge. I realize Essay Writing came as the golden way to improve my writing skill. Let’s see what would happen next. I wish I can do the best as same as the last semester.

SYNOPSIS

This movie is about the situation of the Earth 1000 years after the great disaster that make people died on earth and only minor people success to escape and save their life. They are alive today living in the area something called Nova Prime. The plane that they use was hit by an asteroid storm. That accident makes Cypher Raige, a general of the plane, got chronic injured. They fall down into the earth which situation wasn’t same with the previous one. Here, Kitai had to found a save area to help his father dying in the cockpit. It also can save their sef in earth, because the situation is very dangerous to be placed by people. In the new earth, they must face a new uncharted terrain, and threat from specific evolution animals which dominate in this planet. Besides, they also met with some strange creatures that they never seen before.

PLOT

Now, Earth isn’t inhabited by humans since they moved into space and lives in an area called Nova Prime. The condition isn’t available to live, and the earth had changed into a strange planet. The earth is low oxygen levels, weather often changes drastically, and when night temperatures will reach freezing point. Now, earth need to be quarantined. Kitai failed the exam to be a Ranger like his father. He is very disappointed. In that situation Cypher didn’t know what to do toward to his son. He was very angry to his son. He was also confuse how to educate their son, especially in military rule. He was very trauma, because her past continues to haunt the memory, which makes killed his daughter who was killed by Ursa in protecting himself. Ursa is monsters that animals can’t see, but can feel through the hormone human pheromones. Hormone pheromone comes when people feel scared.

To help psychology of his son, Cypher invited his son, Kitai, in charge to a military training in a short distance aboard a spacecraft. Inside the plane there is also Ursa arrested. It will be the object of the exercise. Unfortunately there is a meteorite storm, and the plane was damaged and fell to earth. The only survivors were Cypher and Kitai while others were killed. Cypher suffered leg fractures and Kitai in a good health.

Unfortunately the safety emergency tool to get help from Nova Prime located in part of the tail fell and the distance is far enough, and only Kitai who can search it, while his father was attention to him in a plane. By having the oxygen drug from his father, Kitai adventure was begun. He faces some obstacles and barriers one by one.  Gorillas, poisonous leeches, cold temperatures, hungry tigers and of course Ursa as its main enemy were faced by child’s 13 year-old.

CHARACTERS

Gregory Heffley

He is the main character, Greg, has trouble with family, friends, and his local middle school. He tries to fit in in his neighborhood and usually does not succeed. He is a creative boy.

Rowley Jefferson

Rowley is a Greg's best friend. He is always willing to do what Greg tells and is going on vacations all the time, which annoys Greg. Rowley is a loyal friend from lots of people's perspectives.

Manny Heffley

Greg's "spoiled" little brother. He never gets in trouble no matter what, even when he really deserves it. He always bumps to his Mom. Manny is three years old.

Rodrick Heffley

Greg's older brother. He has a rocker band that we called "Löded Diper" which Greg and Frank hate. Rodrick always disturb to his brother.

SYNOPSIS

This movie is about the story from the transition children into adolescence that become a difficult time for children. This period usually determine their live when they become adolescence. As a child Greg Heffley is also felling this difficult time. He also has a friend, Rowley, who really cool among his friend. It becomes a worst time in his life, when he was in Junior High School. Greg always fight with his brother, Rodrick, in all time. Greg wasn’t able to do much. He couldn’t resist Rodrick and his friends in school. he got frustrations, and tell it on his diary. Greg didn’t have many friends.  He just has Rowley Jefferson who is a loyal friend. They have already done some adventure experience. For example, dealing with a strange child named Fregley, and fight against a beautiful girl named Patty Farrell.

PLOT

Greg, he is a middle child in her family. He is a school student in Junior High School. he is really kind person, he gives his opinion about bullying, why the girls like boys, how to draw cartoons and numerous other topic, and so on. Greg’s older brother is Rodrick. He has a band called “Loded Diper”. Rodrick is a dreamer, his dream to be a rocker. Rodrick plays practical jokes to Greg. Greg also has younger brother, Manny, is really spoiled. And, Greg’s best friend is Rowley. They became a friend, because Greg sayS sorry to him.

Rodrick always jokes Greg. All the things mean that Rodrick does to Greg and Greg also does to Rowley. Greg’s parents are really confused to them. They always make a busy at home. They never allied each other. One day, their parents give a punishment to them. Their parents left them for 2 days and they have to face each other without fighting, save the house, and make sure that they going to be friend. Unfortunately, after their parent left that house, soon Rodrick called his friends to make a party in his house. In the night, Greg was locked in garage. Greg called his mom, but Rodrick threat him to shut up her mom. Unluckily, Greg told the truth to mom, because there were something changes in their house.

After that moment, Rodrick and Greg get big punishment. Rodrick didn’t allow to do practice and goes to the competition, and Greg caught at home for a month and didn’t allow playing a video games. Both of them have to visit her grandfather too. They really got mental illness. In contrast, Greg became happy, because he met with Patty, and share a lot
